No-Weld Dishwasher Exhaust Systems
VaughanAir’s DXD is a single-wall dishwasher exhaust system.
Featuring installer-friendly companion flange connections that include a chemically inert and liquid-tight gasketed sealing system, the DXD system eliminates the field welding required for contractor fabricated dishwasher exhaust.
It is third-party tested to positive and negative pressures to achieve 10” w.c. in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE/SMACNA Standard 126-2000 as well as constructed in accordance with UL1978 listings for liquid-tight construction.
Available in a rectangular or round footprint, providing additional flexibility that allows designers to achieve the required air flows when shallow ceiling spaces or shaft requirements limit the size. The DXD is offered in minimum 20-gauge 304 or 316 stainless steel with fully welded seams. The DXD patented flange design allows a flat surface for gasket application, offering a complete cost-effective exhaust solution.
Access doors are available and are factory installed and pressure tested prior to delivery to site. Common components such as end caps, terminations, dishwasher hoods and fan adaptors are included in the complete DXD system.
Extensive structural and leakage testing has been performed on the DXD system ensuring a safe solution for new construction or retrofitting of dishwasher exhaust systems.
